I have no beef with the code itself, as you yourself note, that is not what I'm commenting on, so I'm not sure why you're tasking me for that point? I hope you don't think it's because Windows specifically is being bashed, that I feel this is rather silly. As I say in the post, any such rather vapid zealotry from a software package presenting itself in a rather serious manner, would elicit those feelings. Wouldn't everyone groan, if you opened the latest Windows readme, and saw some version of the above, just slanted against GNOME instead?

Yeah, it is a foolish, juvenile statement - goofy even - but your reaction is even funnier. Does the package work like you want it to? Is the code well written? Is the documentation succinct? Error messages meaningful?

But you didn't comment on that, you took exception to somebody bashing windows. sheesh.

And Lu: "outstanding characteristics of the web is its democratic approach to access ..."

What the heck are you talking about? Democracy on the web? It's an anarchy. Always was, is and will be. Gosh, you kids...

These kinds of attitudes make me believe some human beings need see the world set in... "factions" and unfortulantely sometimes respct is lost along the way. Sad and absurd when one of the most outstanding characteristics of the web is its democratic approach to access communication, content and resources.
