I hope you don't think it's because Windows specifically is being bashed, that I feel this is rather silly. As I say in the post, any such rather vapid zealotry from a software package presenting itself in a rather serious manner, would elicit those feelings. Wouldn't everyone groan, if you opened the latest Windows readme, and saw some version of the above, just slanted against GNOME instead?
